Përmet is a small town in southeastern Albania, situated in the Vjosa River valley between the Dangëlli and Trebeshinë mountain ranges. Reshedi, a traditional sweet made in the Përmet region, is another local dish associated with its culinary heritage. Savory cooking includes dishes such as drudhe, chicken prepared with crumbs, alongside locally produced cheese and seasonal vegetables.
